Kendal & Kylie Start Up Fashion Line!

Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendal and Kylie are five names that have more in common, other then the letter K. They are of-course the Kardashian sisters who have graced our television screens for a few years now. The sisters can be seen as fashion icons, reality TV stars, entrepreneurs or they can be seen as simply over-rated. However you view them, is completely up to you and I wont try to change that. However it has hit my news feed through E! Online that Kendal and Kylie, the youngest of the ‘K Klan’ is now opening up their teen fashion line, which will be produced under the license of Canada’s Majectic Mills.

My initial thoughts when this happened were of-course, why? Just because you’re a model doesn’t mean you know anything about fashion. There are thousands upon thousands of women who are studying hard and perfecting their skills through University, Tafe and work placement/experience. Now that might sound a little harsh on the young girls, as everyone wants their creativity to be seen, furthermore if you got handed this opportunity of-course you would take it!

I would love to know just how much of their ideas will be poured into their clothes, or if they will hire people to design and create their own label. I’m unsure how it works as the older Kardashian sisters use to order their stock online for DASH. However they now have their Kardashian Kollection and if they personally design each and everything that goes through, seems highly doubtful.

Kendal and Kylie’s fashion line is yet to be named, however we call all assume it will defiantly have a K in it. Or maybe they will break free from their sister’s continuous use of it. The line will produce T-shirts, pants, shorts and accessories in the Spring.

SPRING

FASHION

OMBRE

This whole post is dedicated to one of my favourite trends seen around Melbourne, Ombre. Ombre can be described as blending two or three colours or even dip-dye.  Ombre can be seen in jumpers, shirts, shorts, nails and ever hair (can also be known as dip-dyed however can come in both a natural and un-natural look). I love this trend because of how universal it is among women, no matter who you are, you can be apart of this amazing trend. Celebrities are obsessed with ombre, like Drew Barrymore’s hair is a perfect example of a ‘natural’ looking ombre. The best part is that it doesn’t take a particular ‘look’ to pull this of or any type of skill (although with the hair you might want to take your time or even seek a professionals advice). Another great thing about this trend is it allows creativity, for example you can paint your nails or even tie-dye your own shorts! This is a fun and colourful trend for Spring and one that is very popular around Melbourne.
